Daniel Grove is a multidisciplinary movement artist, arts administrator, and life-long questioner. They graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in Dance and a Certificate in Hip-Hop Studies, and became a credentialed Facilitator through Turning the Wheel, an organization that uses movement-based activities to foster communal connection and expression.
They have also stage managed for a number of local projects, including TRACES (after Sophie Calle), presented by the Walker Art Center and From Tokyo to Brooklyn, presented by Movement Architecture at Northrop at the University of MN. In addition to their work with MA, they co-founded DynAmic Dance Collective with Aileen Norris, and look forward to continuing their work of choreographing and offering workshops rooted in dynamic disability theory and practice.
Erika Hansen

Erika Hansen is inspired by the unconventional. For the past 20 years, she has performed in a variety of distinctive spaces including a parking garage, a clock tower, various living rooms in the Twin Cities, an old glue warehouse, and the skyways in downtown Minneapolis. She received a BFA in Dance from the University of Minnesota. Locally, she has performed in works by Laura Holway, Sandbox Theatre, Sandy Silva, and April Sellers among others. Her solo, COVER THIS, was presented in Choreographer's Evening 2019.
Erika also lived and danced in New York City for nearly a decade, performing works by Rebecca Davis, De Facto Dance, Willi Dorner, Shannon Hummel, and Noémie Lafrance’s Bessie Award winning Descent. She toured in Bogotá and Paris with Johan Amselem - La Halte Garderie.
Currently, she is a member of Dance Rec Pickup League and continues to perform with Movement Architecture, Charles Campbell and in JG Everest’s Sound Gardens. In addition to her performance career, Erika has worked in various roles as an arts administrator and is the mother of two young children.
Erin Thompson

Erin Thompson is a dance artist, educator and choreographer based in Minneapolis, MN. She recently retired from the University of MN where she was a Senior Teaching Specialist in contemporary dance for 31 years. Erin is an Alexander Technique International (ATI) certified Alexander Technique teacher. Her dance performance career spans over 50 years.
She was a 2019 McKnight Dancer Fellow, received a Sage Outstanding Dance Educator award in 2008, was awarded an NEA Choreography Fellowship in 1993 and a New York Dance and Performance Award, ‘Bessie’, in 1986. Erin continues to teach advanced level contemporary dance classes at Zenon Dance School, volunteers for the homeless at Sanctuary Supply Depot and volunteers with the immigrant led organization UNIDOS on Climate and Equity for the city of Minneapolis.
Anne Lentz

Anne Lentz is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College where she studied dance with Viola Farber. Professionally, she has studied with Merce Cunningham, Jackie Villamil, Christine Wright and Jocelyn Lorenz among others. Anne has over 15 years of professional performing and teaching experience in New York City, Europe and Asia. She was a company member and rehearsal director for Pam Tanowitz Dance in New York City for 15 years. Anne was awarded a Bessie Award in 2009 as a performer in Tanowitz’s Be in the Gray With Me.

Sharon Picasso (she/her) is a Minneapolis, Mni Sota Makoce based movement, performance and transdisciplinary creative Artist and Founder/Artistic Director of Picasso Projects and Lupa Studio on the ancestral lands of the Dakota and Anishinaabe. Her work as a freelance performance and dance artist lives parallel to her work as a choreographer since 1995. Sharon’s creative and collaborative practice has expanded into design including sound, light and installation.
Paramount in Sharon's collaborative process is cultivating an inclusive, respectful and sustaining creative environment where value is placed on the wholeness of an individual.
She considers her long-time collaborative relationships and community as the greatest rewards of her craft.
Sharon Picasso is a 2022 McKnight Dance Artist Fellow. She was awarded a 2019 Artist Initiative Grant from Minnesota Regional Arts Council and Picasso Projects a 2018 Minnesota Regional Arts Council Community Arts Grant, a 2017 Artist in Residence at Chulitna Artist Retreat in the wilderness of Alaska and a 2025 Tofte Lake Center Individual Artist Residency.
